Another Step Foreward

Hi all,

Well, I had a great time last weekend heading to the Springs for Matt and Anna's wedding. It was good to reconnect with many old and dear friends.

This week, I pay the price for being gone for 3 days.

I finshed the first draft of my dissertation last night. I was up until about 3:30am finishing up the introduction. With that, I move on to a new stage in my journey toward graduation -- from the writing stage to the revising stage. Deadlines are closing in fast, so things will be a bit touch and go, and my current draft needs quite a bit of "polishing up" before it will be ready to send to my readers.

I need to finish my revisions and get my final "preliminary draft" to the graduate college by November 11th.

Please pray for my progress, and that my advisors will do a good job of getting comments back to me in a timely fashion so that I have time to make revisions based on their comments.

You can also start praying for my job search, as applications start coming due at the end of November, so I'll have a lot of work getting all of my application materials ready, and I need wisdom as to what sorts of jobs to focus in.
